Termite Facts
Termites (often referred to as white ants) are secretive creatures with an insatiable appetite and a complex but well ordered social system. Extraordinary engineering and survival instincts have been a key factor in their survival for thousands of years.
Within a termite colony there are several different castes - Queen, King, workers, soldiers and even supplementary reproductives. Each caste has a specific function to perform for the survival and maintenance of the colony. In one colony there may be 100's of thousands to millions of individual termites working 24 hours a day.
By understanding this well ordered social structure and the unique habits of differing termite species we are able to create a comprehensive analysis & treatment plan that allows us to take full advantage of this.
Once we have identified the termite species, an assessment of the structure and the surrounding areas being attacked is performed, a tailored treatment program is issued which may include the use of Non repellent/Transfer Agents, Termite Colony baiting, Direct nest location & destruction, Termite dusting agents or combinations of these and others.
